No. This allows you to easily write or update your information on the card.
Are the cards linked to a membership or to an online database?
No. These cards work in an “old-school” kind of way. What if cell transmissions are down? It is nice for emergency personel to be able to quickly see what your allergies are or other immediate data without having to rely on technology.
How can I know if an EMS worker will see my card?
Try to keep it prominently displayed in your wallet.
