Emergency-Contact-Cards.com is a subsidiary of Sound Feelings Publishing, which was is founded by Howard B. Richman in 1984. His main work is as a pianist, composer and piano teacher, which he still does to this day. One of Mr. Richman’s passions is preparedness. For example, he likes being organized to not run out of something so when that is getting low, he would make sure to re-stock before the item was completely out. This “preparedness” instinct naturally morphed into “emergency preparedness.” He noticed that there was a feeble card sometimes in a new wallet where you could write some basic contact info. Many years ago, he had the idea that maybe people would want this type of card even if they didn’t purchase a new wallet. That was the beginning of the Emergency Contact Cards!
